Victim identified in deadly Warren County crash

A West Chester man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Warren County.

The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. Monday on S.R. 741 near Keever Pass in Turtlecreek Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Douglas McCoskey was driving north on S.R. 741 when his vehicle ran off the road, hit a ditch and an embankment and crashed into trees and brush.

McCoskey was ejected in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

OSP says McCoskey was not wearing his seatbelt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Tutrlecreek Township Fire and EMS, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and Mason Police Department assisted OSP at the crash scene.
