DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- One of the people found shot at an intersection in Dayton has died.
The Montgomery County Coroner identifies the victim as 21-year-old Adriaunna Jackson from Dayton as the person who died.
Dayton Police confirm she died at Miami Valley Hospital.
Authorities say someone called 911 just before 4 a.m. Friday reporting shots fired near the intersection of W. Siebenthaler Avenue and N. Main Street.
According to police, the shooting stemmed from a fight that happened Thursday morning at the Plush club in Harrison Township.
Police say the people involved in that fight returned to the club Thursday night. The fight continued and things escalated early Friday morning, ending in the shooting.
Police found at least two people shot inside a vehicle. Those victims were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, wehere Jackson later died. Police have not released the condition of the other victim.
Our 2 NEWS crew at the scene saw a white car riddled with bullet holes. There were evidence markers and shell casings on the ground around the car.
Officers also checked a possible scene at the intersection of Philadelphia Drive and N. Main Street.
No suspects are in custody yet.
Police say they are looking for persons of interest in connection with the shooting.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Dayton Police.
Police shut down W. Siebenthaler Avenue just east of N. Main Street to conduct in the investigation. That intersection has since reopened.
