Vacant house fire rekindles in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — A vacant house fire kept Huber Heights fire crews busy Sunday night into Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 64-hundred block of Rip Rap Road, near Shore Drive, around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

When crews arrived, they found a one-story house on fire.

Crews put out the fire, but it rekindled a few hours later.

Firefighters returned to the scene just after 1 a.m. Monday and knocked down the fire once again.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
