RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews are battling a vacant house fire in Riverside.
The fire started just after 6:30 a.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Bushnell Road near Broadmead Boulevard.
Crews arrived at the scene and found a fire in the basement of a vacant house.
Fire officials say the house was boarded up.
According to fire officials, the house also appeared to be a “hoarder house” with a large amount of property inside.
Crews used foam to battle the fire. Fire officials say crews would remain on the scene to put out hot spots.
No one was injured.
A fire investigator was called to the scene to determine a cause of the fire.
