DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An opening ceremony was held for the new USO Center at Dayton International Airport on Tuesday.
Guests were able to tour the new facility and see the new lounge area and amenities that will serve military passengers and their families.
“It’s a place where they can go and hopefully have a very relaxed and enjoyable experience while they’re here at the airport waiting for their flight,” said Terry Slaybaugh, Aviation Director for the City of Dayton. “It’s really about service to our servicemen who are serving our country. It’s one of the ways we’re showing our gratitude to servicemen and women in the Dayton region, by providing this facility at the airport.”
