URS holds annual VIP bowling event in Huber Heights

Local News

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) –  United Rehabilitation Services wraps up Developmental Disabilities Month with its annual VIP bowling event Tuesday.

Plenty of local celebrities were on hand at Poelking Lanes in Huber Heights including our own Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis who picked up a spare.

The event encourages people to get to know someone with a disability and understand we’re all alike.

Dennis Grant, Executive Director of URS said, “It’s a great way to share with the community the abilities of the people we work with and not just the disabilities. What a great way to have fun, get everybody out and enjoy this together.”

URS has been helping children and adults with disabilities for over 60 years.
