UPDATE: 911 lines back up in Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – 911 lines were down in Mercer County for roughly three hours Thursday.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office stated, “Please be advised that as of 6:15 PM, Mercer County 911 phone lines are back in full service.  Please take note that Frontier Communication will be doing planned maintenance on the Mercer County 911 phone lines starting at 8:00 am on Friday August 10, 2018. All 911 calls will be rerouted to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office administrative phone lines.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this time.”
