Crews rescued two people from high water in Clark County early Wednesday morning.

Authorities say a woman in a pickup truck got stuck in high water on Lower Valley Pike, near Old Mill Road, just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

The woman’s husband came to the scene and walked through the water to reach here. Both people became trapped.

Crews helped both people out of the high water.

Medics treated both people at the scene. The man and woman left the scene in another vehicle.

Authorities urge people to avoid driving into areas with high water.
