The Tipp City water tower spring a leak Sunday night.
The tower at the intersection of W. Walnut Street and Bowman Avenue began gushing water around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.
Police say workers at the water plant were doing maintenance on the tower. While the water was turned off, it backed up.
According to police, the backup caused the leak.
Police closed the road while water maintenance corrected the issue.
According to police, no one living in the area will be affected by the leak.
