Three men flee scene of crash after OSP chase

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Authorities are looking for three men who ran away from the scene of a crash.

It happened around 5:10 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of James H. McGee Boulevard W. Third Street.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened after a brief pursuit.

OSP received reports of a reckless driver on U.S. 35 near S.R. 42 in Greene County just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Minutes later, a trooper located the vehicle near I-675 and attempted to pull it over. The vehicle fled from the trooper, leading to a brief pursuit.

The vehicle got off U.S. 35 at James H. McGee Boulevard. Moments later, the vehicle tried to turn onto W. Third Street when it hit a median and crashed.

The three men inside the vehicle ran away. OSP says all three men were wearing hoodies.

OSP says the vehicle was stolen out of Cincinnati.

The crash and pursuit are under investigation.
