A teen is dead after a two-vehicle crash near Wapakonta.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Kettlersville Road and U.S. 33 in western Auglaize County.

According to OSP, 18-year-old Heaven Leigh Bolinger from St. Mary’s was driving south on Kettlersville Road. OSP says Bolinger failed to stop at the stop sign at U.S. 33.

An SUV driving west on U.S. 33 hit Bolinger’s car.

Crews had to cut Bolinger out of her car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital. OSP hasn’t released his condition.

OSP says both drivers were wearing their seat belts. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the crash.

The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office, Buckland Fire Department, Wapakoneta Fire Department, Auglaize County Coroner’s Office and Ohio Department of Transportation assisted OSP as the scene.
