Local News

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A Kettering teen convicted for shooting a Fairmont High School student to death in 2016 entered a plea deal in court on Tuesday.

Kylen Gregory pleaded guilty to five counts of felonious assault for his role in the fatal shooting of Ronnie Bowers.

In November, a jury found Gregory guilty of two counts of reckless homicide, but they were deadlocked on the felonious assault charges.

He was set to be re-tried on those charges in May.

Gregory will now be sentenced on June 13.
