MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) — Kettering Health said late Friday a partial lockdown was triggered at Sycamore Medical Center after a man entered the facility.

Kettering Health said in a statement:

“Sycamore Medical Center went on partial lockdown due to a Dayton Police Department investigation of an individual that entered our facility. The lockdown was lifted less than 30 minutes later after the person was found and the area was deemed safe. No patients or staff at Sycamore Medical Center were harmed. We want to thank the Dayton Police Department and other first responders for their assistance. Because this is an active investigation,  we will not be commenting further at this time.”

Dayton Police said they were investigating a car that had previously fled from officers and was being driven by a man wanted for felony warrants. Police said the man drove to Kettering Health Miamisburg, previously known as Sycamore Medical Center. The man ran from the car and into the hospital, triggering the partial lockdown.

The man taken into custody by police. He has not been identified.
