Suspects in custody after high speed chase ends in Xenia

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) — Suspects are in custody after a high speed chase ended in Xenia Friday morning.

The chase started just after 4 a.m. Friday on U.S. 35 near Beavercreek.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a trooper began chasing a vehicle linked to a robbery at the Target in Sugarcreek Township.

The chase continued at a high rate of speed for nearly five minutes before the vehicle crashed near the intersection of Allison Avenue and Main Street in Xenia.

The suspects ran away from the vehicle. Authorities set up a perimeter and began searching for the suspects.

Troopers say all suspects are believed to be in custody at this time.
