Suspect in custody after standoff in Perry Township

One person is in custody after the SWAT Team and other local law enforcement officials responded to a a home on Wolf Creek Pike in Perry Township.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Township Police Department, Brookville Fire Paramedics and New Lebanon Police responded to the scene early Wednesday morning.

Wolf Creek Pike was closed in both directions from Keener Road to Air Hill Road around 8:00  am Wednesday and the road is now back open.

Our 2 NEWS crew was at the scene and can confirm no shots were fired during the standoff.

Several officers are on the scene. SWAT officers arrived just before 9:30 am Wednesday.

Officers set up a perimeter around a home in the 11000 block of Wolf Creek Pike. Police say they saw a man on the roof of the home, entering and exiting the house through upstairs windows.
