CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) – A man is in custody after allegedly holding his girlfriend and her daughter hostage at a home in Preble County, prompting an hours-long standoff with police.
Around 10:10 a.m., Preble County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 10130 Gratis Jacksonburg Road on reports of a domestic violence incident. Deputies were told that a female at the residence was being held in the house against her will by her boyfriend since late Sunday evening, and that the boyfriend threatened to kill her if she called police.
