Suspect in custody after Hamilton High School threat

HAMILTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A suspect is in custody for making a threat against Hamilton High School.

The Hamilton Police Department says the threat was made Wednesday on social media.

As the threat spread online, police say concerned parents started calling Butler County dispatch to report the threat.

Police investigated the threat and located a suspect.

That person is being held in the Butler County Jail on a charge of Making a Terroristic Threat.

Police say no one else was involved in the threat.

The Hamilton City School District is cooperating with the investigation.
