Student charged after threats at school

A student is now facing charges after making threats towards two adults and at a local school Thursday.

According to a press release from Tippecanoe Middle School, the student made a written threat to harm two adults at the building and mentioned to damage the school.

School officials told police about the threat and will continue to investigate it.

The student is facing three misdemeanor charges including aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

The press release also said the Tipp City Police Department said there were no injuries and does not deem the student to be an immediate threat to the students, staff or community.
