ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – State Treasurer Robert Sprague joined administrators to talk with students from the Miami Valley Career Technology Center Thursday.
They discussed choices to make with finances, student loan debt, and careers after school.
Sprague says education is key, and being a part of the right program can put students ahead when searching for a job.
“Part of it is just an educational process. Things are different from when I was in school. They are. The job market has changed and you can get a great job going through a two-year program if you have the right certifications, and we’ve got to get that message out,” he said.
The event also featured student presentations.
