Springfield Police seek person of interest in Walmart theft

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — Springfield Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with a theft at a Walmart.

Police say the theft happened April 13th at the Walmart on S. Tuttle Road.

According to police, an elderly woman said she left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot.

When she came back to get the purse a few minutes later, it was gone and was not turned in at the store.

Investigators released surveillance images of a person of interest related to the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Springfield Police at 937-324-7714.
