Speeds top 100 mph in OSP pursuit that ends in crash

PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) — A high speed pursuit that started in Montgomery County ended with a crash in Piqua.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol chased a vehicle going north on I-75 from Montgomery County into Miami County.

OSP says speeds topped 100 miles per hour during the pursuit.

The vehicle got off on 25-A and drove into Piqua where it crashed near the Marathon Gas Station on W. Water Street around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Three people inside the vehicle ran away.

Troopers say two of those suspects are in custody. Authorities are looking for a third suspect.

OSP has not said what led to the chase.
