DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Sinclair Community College is holding a water drive for those impacted by Florence.
Students and staff are on hand to help load the water onto trucks.
Organizers say they decided to partner with the Foodbank after Hurricane Harvey last year.
“Each natural disaster is a different kind of experience for folks and each area that gets hit is a little bit different, but the challenges are the same in terms of not having potable drinking water, having environmental concerns, having first responders that have to go out and help stabilize the area and rescue residents,” says Laura Mercer, Chief of Strategy Implementation at Sinclair.
You can drop off water at Sinclair at Building 12 in the circular driveway off Perry Street up until 10 pm throughout the week, or you can drop it off at the Foodbank.
