KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A pet adoption center in Kettering received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.
SICSA is able to help with over 1,600 adoptions and provide educational outreach to more than 8,000 people.
The business also has a spay and neuter program to help prevent unwanted animal births in the Miami Valley.
SICSA also attends special events and a camp for teens who earn volunteer hours for community service projects.
“Only six percent of the charities we evaluate have received at least six consecutive 4-star evaluations…indicating that SICSA outperforms most other charities in America,” Charity Navigator President and CEO Michal Thatcher said.
