SICSA offering adoption special to help clear kennel space

Local News

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – SICSA is holding an “Over 30 for Under 30” adoption special this weekend, meaning any dog over 30 pounds will be available for under 30 dollars.

You can stop by the center on Wilmington Pike in Kettering until 7 p.m. Friday, between 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

“I think it’s great to bring your kids. We want to make sure we’re sending a dog home who’s going to do well with everyone in the family, not just one person, so bring your kids and we can help introduce them,” says Jessie Sullivan, Director of Adoptions.

SICSA says this adoption weekend will help clear much-needed kennel space for more animals.

The 29 dollar adoption fee includes spaying and neutering, vaccinations, and microchips.
