DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are looking for two men who robbed a Dayton convenience store at gunpoint late Wednesday.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Sam’s Market on E. Third Street, near S. Sperling Avenue.
Authorities say two men entered the store with guns. One of the suspects fired a shot during the robbery.
No one was injured.
One of the suspects is described as a man wearing a black bandana and a black hoodie.
A 911 caller says she was at the counter when the suspects entered the store.
She ran to the back of the store, along with several other people. According to the 911 caller, five people hid in a cooler during the robbery.
The 911 caller reported hearing the gunshot as well.
Police have not said if there is surveillance video of the robbery. It’s unclear if the suspects left the area on foot or in a vehicle.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Dayton Police or Crimestoppers at 222-STOP.
