A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect for all of the Miami Valley until 11 p.m.
All of the Miami Valley is under a “slight risk” from the Storm Prediction Center. This means there’s a good chance showers and storms may reach severe criteria with gusty winds, hail, heavy rainfall and an isolated tornado.
“A few and storms will be around for the evening commute, but there’s a better chance of storms moving through later tonight before ending around midnight,” says Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Tara Hastings.
More showers and storms will be possible on Tuesday but it looks dry for the middle and end of the week.
