DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) —  A semi snagged power lines, shutting down a section of a Dayton street Wednesday morning.

Authorities say it happened around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday on S. Broadway Street, near Weaver Street.

According to police, the semi’s trailer was elevated when it pulled out of a parking lot. The raised trailer caught on power lines, causing to the semi to partially tip over.

There were no injuries.

DP&L was called to the scene and inspected the line. Police say crews didn’t find any initial damage, but add DP&L will inspect the lines again once the semi is removed.

Authorities shut down S. Broadway Street from Weaver Street to Miami Chapel Road to clear the scene.
