DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An overturned semi caused traffic delays on the ramp from I-70 eastbound to I-75 southbound for several hours on Tuesday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 2 NEWS that the semi was carrying roughly 50,000 lbs. of eggs at the time of the crash.
Speed is believed to have played a role in the crash.
No injuries have been reported.
The righthand lanes were restricted for the next few hours while crews cleared the area. The eggs had to be unloaded from the trailer before they could upright the truck and move it out of the area.
