School district to break ground on agricultural facility

Local News

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – Arcanum-Butler Local Schools is set to construct a 20,000 square foot building to focus specifically on agricultural education.

Our friends at the Dayton Business Journal report that the building will house an agricultural lab, a greenhouse, and classrooms.

Seven agricultural education courses will be offered once the facility opens. It will also house the wrestling program and will be used for softball, baseball, and golf practice.

The public will also be free to use the building’s community room and athletic space.

The new facility is expected to be finished by November, weather permitting.
