DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dublin Pub hosted the fourth annual “Roll Call” fundraiser Monday night. Proceeds from the event will benefit family survivors of officers killed in the line of duty throughout Montgomery County.
“A good friend of mine told me once he had a job where he doesn’t hear ‘Thank You,’ in fact, when he talks to people it’s an undeniably thankless job. That wears on people. Our job is to let them know that I think there’s a majority of people who do care about them,” says Steve Tieber, owner of The Dublin Pub.
The Memorial helps support several yearly scholarships and is also dedicated to the remembrance of the 38 fallen officers from the communities of Montgomery County.
