TROY, Ohio (WDTN) — Roads in Troy are open again after crews worked to repair a ruptured natural gas line in Troy.

Authorities confirm a construction crew hit a natural gas line near the Sunoco gas station on W. Market Street just before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

W. Market St. was shut down at the point of the line rupture as crews work to make repairs.

Three homes were evacuated because of the leak but no one was injured. Residents have been allowed to return to their homes.

Officials say contractors were working to rebuild a gas station and struck a gas line Tuesday morning.
