Road work begins in Huber Heights Monday

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Construction projects will begin on two roads in Huber Heights Monday.

A section of Chambersburg Road will be closed from Bellefontaine Road to just past the Artisan Walk subdivision.

The road will be completely closed for two weeks, while crews perform maintentance on two petroleum gas pipelines crossing the road.

At the end of two weeks, the road will be reopened, with traffic only open in the west direction for the remainder of the project. Eastbound Chambersburg Road will remain closed.

Traffic will be rerouted to both Taylorsville Road and an open section of Fishburg Road.

A section of Fishburg Road will also close Monday. Crews are shutting down Fishburg from Old Troy Pike to Endicott Road for four days to install a new storm culvert pipe across the road.

Traffic will be rerouted to an open section of Chambersburg Road.
