DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – 2 NEWS teamed up with the Dayton Red Cross Monday to raise money for Hurricane Michael relief.

Red Cross volunteers manned the phone lines in a special event during First at 4, FIVE on 2, and 2 NEWS at 6.

Donations totaled almost $15,000 throughout the two-and-a-half-hour period.

To anyone who took the time to donate to the Red Cross during this time, thank you! Your donation will enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to, and help people recover from this disaster.
