DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Montgomery County residents can drop off unwanted, old appliances for free starting Thursday.
This recycling program, sponsored by the Montgomery County Solid Waste District, aims to promote recycling in order to prevent illegal dumping, pollution and contamination.
Residents from other counties around the Miami Valley can bring a working refrigerator, freezer, room air conditioner or dehumidifier and earn some cash from Dayton Power& Light.
You can drop off your places at the Montgomery County Solid Waste Transfer Facility at the dates and times listed below:
- Thursday, June 7 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Friday, June 8 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
