Railroad crossing repairs underway in West Carrollton

WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Some drivers in West Carrollton will need to find a new route due to road work that started Sunday.

Crews closed the railroad crossing at Elm Street for repairs.

Those repairs include the removal of existing tracks and rubber pads, along with the installation of newer traclks and pads. Crews will also repave the area.

The closure is expected to last nearly a week.

Traffic will be detoured through Central Avenue to Alex Road and Gibbons Road.
