DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office hosted the annual Violence Prevention Awards Ceremony at the Dayton Masonic Temple Wednesday.
Students submitted works of art highlighting other ways to handle disputes.
“These are our future leaders, and it’s just great to see the time and work they put into drawing posters and writing essays about these topics,” says Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck. “If you see the quality of kids that we have in there and what they’re doing and how they’re dealing with it, and the optimism they provide, it’s really fantastic.”
This was the ceremony’s 29th year.
