Premier Health offers free wellness program to first responders

Local News

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Premier Health hosted a free health and wellness event for first responders in Huber Heights on Thursday.

Their ‘Healthy Heroes’ program is designed to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and durability of crews.

The firefighters get one-on-one consultations to help with the physical needs of the job.

“I think, hopefully, it’s going to allow them to be pain free, and to perform both power and agility-wise to the best of their ability. As we broaden our program, there’s a lot of different possibilities,” says Dr. Jeff Rayborn of Premier Health.

The initiative is being implemented throughout other cities in the Miami Valley as well.
