DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The legacy of Good Samaritan Hospital was honored Monday evening by Premier Health.
Artifacts, art, and donor walls were unveiled to celebrate the history of Good Sam following its closure last July. Premier Health shut the facility down and say they are committed to redeveloping the site in a way that will benefit the region.
“We just want to be here to serve the Dayton community and we want to thank all of those who previously gave to Good Sam and to just be there for those in need,” says Mary Garman, Chief Operating Officer.
Several gardens from the Good Samaritan site will also be relocated to North Campus.
