Body of man found in Trotwood identified

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — The body of a man found in Trotwood on railroad tracks has been identified.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said Thursday the body was identified as 21-year-old James Richard Ullery.

Police received a call Wednesday afternoon alerting them to a body that was found on railroad tracks behind a warehouse at 1 Stratacache Way in Trotwood. The call came in around 1:45 p.m. and police, along with fire crews, went to the scene near Olive Road and SR-49.

According to a press release, police found no obvious signs of trauma to his body and the cause of death is unknown at this time. Authorities are still working to identify the body and the incident remains under investigation.

The cause and manner of death, according to the Coroner’s Office, have not been determined. The case remains under investigation by the Trotwood Police Department.
