HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) -- Authorities are investigating a report of shots fired in Harrison Township.
Deputies responded to a 911 call about shots fired at the intersection of Turner Road and Wolf Road just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
The 911 caller reported hearing as many as ten gunshots.
When deputies arrived, they found several shell casings from a rifle in the intersection and further down Wolf Road. There was also glass from a vehicle in the road.
Deputies searched the area, but did not find any victims or suspects. Authorities also checked area hospitals, but did not find anyone associated with the shooting.
The Special Investigations Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
There was a report of two gunshot victims arriving at Miami Valley Hospital around 3 a.m. Tuesday. There's no word if those victims have any connection to the Harrison Township incident.
