Police ask for help identifying armed robbery suspect

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police in Dayton are asking for your help identifying a robbery suspect caught on camera.

Police say the robbery happened August 10 around 5:30 pm at the Boost Mobile store in the 1700 block of North Gettysburg Avenue.

The suspect was armed with a handgun, according to police, and is described as a man with a thick beard. The suspect is roughly 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build. The man was also wearing a long, woman’s wig.

Police say the man left the scene in a white sedan.

No one was injured in the robbery.
