Photos capture Dollar Tree armed robbery suspects

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are searching for at least two suspects who robbed a Dollar Tree store at gunpoint Monday evening.

Dispatch tells 2 NEWS it happened at the store located at 2198 North Gettysburg Avenue just before 7:50 pm.

Two younger male suspects entered the store and reportedly threatened an employee with a handgun before running off toward the area of Kings Highway.

Dayton Police released surveillance images from the robbery that captured the two suspects. One was described as wearing a ski mask, and black clothing with white stripes and an emblem on the coat. The other was wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey pants, with red and white shoes.

Both suspects appead to be between 18 and 20 years old, and stand between 5’5″ and 5’8″ tall.

There is no word yet if they got away with any cash or merchandise.

No injuries were reported.
