Person escapes unharmed from car fire near Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — A person escaped unharmed from a car fire near Beavercreek Monday morning.

Beavercreek Police Officers responded to reports of a car fire on I-675 SB, just south of N. Fairfield Road and just north of Col. Glenn Highway around 7:45 am Monday.

When officers arrived, they found a person outside an SUV that was parked in the grass median off the right side of the road.

The person was able to get out of the vehicle safely.

No lanes of traffic were blocked.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
