DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Monday, Panera Bread presented a check to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. During the month of March, all 13 Miami Valley locations raised money for the shelter.
Over $6,800 was collected during the campaign.
“The Humane Society of Greater Dayton uses the money for all types of programs: spay or neuter programs, adoption programs, even cruelty and neglect programs,” says Brian Weltge, President and CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. “We are a not-for-profit 5013c organization and we are dependent on all money that is raised by individuals, corporations, and foundations, and this will go a long way helping save animals.”
The was the first time Panera partnered up with the Humane Society.
