Panera Bread locations will once again launch a cookie campaign to raise awareness about autism.
Dayton Children’s Hospital is partnering up with Covelli Enterprises for their ‘Pieces of Hope for Autism’ cookie campaign.
The cookie is designed with a blue puzzle piece to symbolize Autism Awareness.
“The funds raised by the community through the ‘Pieces of Hope for Autism’ campaign make a tremendous impact on improving the experience at the hospital for children with autism and other developmental and behavioral disabilities,” Dayton Children’s Hospital Developmental Pediatrician Craig Boreman MD said. “We have been able to purchase sets of tools, toys and distraction aids as well as train more staff in techniques to reduce the stress of coming to the hospital or the emergency department.”
The cookie campaign starts Monday, April 9 and will run through Sunday, April 15 at all Dayton-area Panera locations.
Sales from the cookie campaign will donate 100 percent of the proceeds toward the cause.
Last year, the campaign raised more than $24,255.00
