DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The annual Go Red for Women luncheon was held Thursday at Sinclair Community College.
The event serves to educate women about the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke. Living Dayton co-host Julia Palazzo served as the emcee for the event.
In the United States, cardiovascular diseases kill approximately one woman every 80 seconds.
Screenings were also offered at the event, which raised over $18,000.
