HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Hot dog lovers had the chance to take pictures with a famous icon Saturday.
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile stopped by the Kroger on Brandt Pike in Huber Heights. It’s currently on a national tour, looking to continue the mission it started more than 80 years ago.
Connor O’Neil of Oscar Mayer says, “Everyone is always happy to see it, which is awesome. It’s 60 hot dogs long, it’s a 27-foot long hot dog, so it’s pretty rare. It’s been around since 1936, created in the heart of the great depression and its mission was to make people happier because it was a darker time.”
If you missed out, it’s returning to the same area Sunday from 2pm until 4pm.
