One person in custody after stabbing near Dayton gas station

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — One person is in custody after a stabbing near a Dayton gas station early Friday.

It happened near the Shell gas station at the corner of Free Pike and N. Gettysburg Avenue around 1 a.m. Friday.

Police say a person was stabbed in the hand durring a robbery. Investigators believe the victim was stabbed while in the backseat of a vehicle.

Medics took the victim to a local hospital. Authorities have not released that person’s condition.

Police took one person into custody. There’s no word on what charges the suspect will face.
