One in custody after vehicle flees during traffic stop in Warren County

FRANKLIN, Ohio (WDTN) — One person is in custody after a vehicle fled during a traffic stop in Warren County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a Trooper tried to make a traffic stop on I-75 southbound around 2:40 a.m. Monday.

The vehicle took off, leading the Trooper on a chase into Franklin. The pursuit ended at the intersection of Miami and Lake Avenues.

According to OSP, two people inside the vehicle ran away. A K-9 unit was called to assist in the search for the suspects.

Authorities located one suspect and took that person into custody. The search is ongoing for the second suspect.
