Ohio conference relocates to the Miami Valley

Local News

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists is now on East Dorothy Lane in Kettering.

The headquarters used to be in Mount Vernon near Columbus.

Local business owners gifted the building to the Ohio Conference last year.

The Conference helps to serve churches and schools throughout the state.

Dr. Ron Halvorsen, President of the Ohio Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, said, “To be here, it is basically costing us a lot less to run, and for us and our organization, it means more money to use for churches and schools.”

The new headquarters includes better internet networks, phones, and a bigger meeting hall with seating for more than 150 people.
